I'm not sure that *drawing a blank on the Arkansas transfers name* is ready to feel in. This could be bad for USC at least their running game and defense are stellar. The other thing is that this seems to be par for the course with the rest of the Pac 10 QB situations. Washington's Jake locker is out for a few weeks. UCLA's Olsen is out for 8 weeks. Both Canfield and Moevao at Oregon State are injury prone. Carpenter at Arizona State was sacked more times than anyone in NCAA last season. Costa at Oregon is coming back from a torn ACL. Cals starting QB (drawing blank again) is in a dog fight with Kevin Riley for the starting job. This could be a really tough season for Pac 10 signal callers. The strength of the conference for the first time I can recall is Defense.

Get your facts straight guys. It is a dislocated knee and a minor dislocaton at that. Now Mustain almost won the starting job in the spring. The difference was that Sanchez had a better knowledge of the playbook, something that can be overcome with practice. USC has what amounts to an away scrimmage against Virginia, and then a week off before they get their big test of the year in Ohio State. That may be enough time for Mustain to learn enough of the playbook to be effective. Look for a lot of running from USC, especially with their stable of RB's.

Chill man, I'm just going on what I saw on ESPN. The only way I'm following his injury is through FBB.

USC have been known to struggle mightily, and even lose those "scrimmages" over the last couple of years.

They only struggle against Pac 10 teams.

The offense is mediocre at best this year, and they have almost no chance to play for the national title, but I'm sure when bowl season comes around we'll be looking at another BCS bowl win.
