Oregon this season

I have a feeling they could breakout, they lost a good bunch of players, but they could be real good, I am liking the Dixon/Stewart combo.

I think we'll most likely lose 2-5 games this year. I'm just not sold on us as a contender this season. We apparently looked pretty bad at the Spring game, Dixon is locking on to receivers again. The Defense is young and talented but most likely not mature enough.

Oregon has disappointed more times than not. They had an unexplainiable collapse at the end of last year, including a terrible loss in a bowl game. Bellotti is very inconsistant. I think that Oregon's schedule is a plus for them. They get all of their Pac 10 tough games at home. Still, a loss to Michigan is in the cards, plus 2 or 3 losses in the Pac 10. Oregon's defense is still not real good. I also do not like the two QB system. I see Oregon in top 5 of the Pac 10, but catching USC and Cal may be a different story.

Apparently Bellotti has abolished the 2 qaurterback system which is good, the problem is that he has committed to Dixon. All reports out of Eugene are that Dixon is struggling with hiss passing and locking on to recievers. I hear that Freshman Nathan Costa has been easily the best looking qaurterback of the lot however Bellotti seems 100% committed to Dixon.

Bigdaddy, i think Oregon will end up beating Michigan, once again starting a saeason hot only to have losses down the stretch to WSU, USC, Arizona and most likely Cal.

Nothing new to Oregon, whenever a season starts good it always collapses. It's so hard to stay consistent in the northwest when nobody wants to come and play up here. Probly 6-6 and maybe a bowl for the Ducks, but I wouldn't hold my breath. If the Ducks don't make it to a bowl then Bellotti is on the hot seat for sure.

Don’t feel too bad, I thought pretty much the same thing too. The Ducks have a been a breath of fresh air in the Pac10 and for once it’s good to see the mighty Trojans get knocked off their high horse and replaced with a better suited candidate, plus I’m really liking Jonathon Stewart every time I see him in action and I’ve already started my “draft Stewart” campaign for the Texans

Wow, I feel like I've lost a relative or something. That's one of the toughest losses in Oregon's history.
