21 now, 2nd longest win streak in NBA history. Maybe Losing Yao was the best thing ever for this team.

Sometimes loosing a big name IS a good thing. It shows that maybe the offence was flowing through a channel that maybe didn't allow other players to contribute as much as they now do... They used Yao as a center piece in their game to slow thing down and play the low post, but maybe they needed a bit more run and gun. As long a T-Mac can keep it together in his head and avoid more emotional breakdowns, they should be a solid team going into the playoffs.

We don't miss a beat because Adelman's offense is pedicated on an guard oriented up tempo style. He had to re work it with Yao in the picture so now it's running like it's originally supposed to. Combine that with great defense and chemistry and you have an amazing win streak. I mean I'm happy they're 22 - 0 but I would much rather get out the 1st round instead, all this means nothing if we're one and done again this year

NBA starting!!
Ok, so it's been a few months since someone has posted in this forum so I figured it needs to be brought alive again. NBA preseason is starting in a few days (less than a week I believe?) and I am very excited to watch the Phoenix Suns play again. I wonder how the new coach Terry Porter is going to do. Personally, I liked Mike D 'Antoni - although they never won a championship (I'd like to blame part of that to that whole officials scandal) but we'll see how Porter does. I'm glad they didn't get rid of Barbosa and Diaw. It was bad enough when they got rid of Marion. Anyways, I love the Suns and they TOTALLY deserve a Championship! I'm especially excited to watch the NBA season this year because I finally got the new Vizio TV to watch the game in HD and really get a feel for it! Can't wait

Well the Suns are a team that need to get a defence together... Which is why Matrix was a bad trade, he was a multi-roll kind of guy... I'm personally waiting to see how the Raps do this year...

I completely agree. They need to really work on defense, which I heard that Terry Porter focused on defense when he was assisting for the Pistons. So hopefully he brings some of that to the table. I do miss Marion. That's for sure. I don't mind the Raptors...it's funny because Bosh LOOKS like a Raptor.
I like Kapono though. I used to watch him in college |

Hey Favre, so you decided to get that Vizio you were talking about huh? That's sweet. How's it treating ya? My 50" is just wonderful!
My boss is over here saying that the Suns are going to go under this season. That Nash and Shaq are just another year older, which is true - but I don't know man....we'll see what Porter has done. I want the Warriors to go far this year. I think they totally deserve it! |

Nash's game isn't the kind of game that goes away with age, see Reggie Miller. He'll be fine and well, Shaq is Shaq again this year...
As for the Warriors, I hope they loose every time they play the Clippers from here on in... Davis is the man and always was, even in GSW though he was more of a roll player last year... He's one of the best guards in the game and I can't believe they let him go... Meh, time will tell, but I think this is going to be a good season!

So how long until you start posting links to other forums?
In the off chance that you stick around long enough to reply, the Spurs are always gammers, but another year older for a team that's not exactly the youngest in the league... It's all going to hinge on if Duncan and Gonobli can stay 1. Healthy 2. Productive... They've added some young talent, but will any of it be enough to step in right away and contribute? Don't know... The nice thing about the Spurs though, is that any young player could step in an be a roll player as long as the big three stay healthy...
