8 SACKS!! I mean....COME ON.

I think that Clausen did excellent given what he had to work with. He escaped from the pressure in the pocket for the most part. It seemed he sensed well which direction the pressure was about to come from. It's just too bad that no one was protecting the dude.

Bigs up to Trevor Laws! He is kicking ass this year!! Nice interception and TD on the defensive end. Still scoreless on the offensive side... grrr

Man...I have never watched a game at Beaver Stadium before. WOW. That place was insane! It was so exciting! They have some really cool fanatics there! The whole stadium was white! It was neat. Had we been @ home we might have done a little better, given the crowd noise was insane but oh well...

Notre Dame will be back, but not with Weiss. What a clown he turned out to be.
I think ND will select a successful 1-AA coach, like Ohio State did, that seems to work pretty well.

Notre Dame extended Weis's contract through 2015 and he's leading in recruiting, he's not going anywhere.

He may be back for 2008, but I bet he is not around in 2009...Irish fans are impatient with losing. If he was in Nebraska they would have dragged him thru the streets by now.

Have you seen what he's recruiting, go take a look no ones even close to what he's doing right now, you'd be stupid to fire someone like that.

NFL_WIZARD, you have no idea what you are talking about. Drive thru, please try again.

If you're not an Irish fan, you can't "speak" for them either. I know plenty of Irish fans that are completely disgusted & disheartened with this season and they are not calling for Weis' head on a platter.
Guess that's the different btwn Notre Dame fans and Nebraska fans.

I know my football and I like to talk about other teams, either for or against. Callahan's had many chances by now and the fans were very patient at first. He finally got his talent there and it's the same result, so it's time for him to go.

Ok, you're right. I was just irritated with his assumption that ND "will be back" not with Weis but instead with some 1-aa coach like Ohio did. That's just retarded.
and
"Irish fans are impatient with losing" - well, NO DUH, aren't most fans? As a Lion fan, you should really know patience with losing and you should know it well. (With the exception of late.)

Anyway, my bad about Nebraska.

Remeber Gerry Faust? He posted 5 consecutive #1 recruting classes....and ended up 5-6 or 6-5 every year. Look him up on Wikipedia.
As for Weiss, I commend the patient fans, thats how it should be.
It is true Nebraska fans are the most demanding, but they are also some of the best fans in any sport.
