New York Giants

People get the Sports prognosticators idea of an ideal QB 6'4" 220 lb's lazer cannon arm!!!! Michael Vick has a better playoff winning percentage than the Manning boys all he does is WIN, close to 70% of the games he starts and finishes now if there is a Definition of a prototype QB its the opposite of Vick but if you want a winning team "I like Mike" I am a lifelong Giants Fan but i live in ATL and if i have to choose between watching the G-Men and Falcons on Sunday I choose Michael and the Falcons you never know what he is gonna do break one at any moment or throw one 80 yards in distance Mike Vick the most EXCITING view in the Game!!!!

Attributing the Winning % to only the QB is one of the most misleading things you can do.

What has Vick done to make his team win? During their winning years, the defense outranked the offense. Going just by winning percentage, Rothlisberger is the best QB EVER. Youngest to the SuperBowl, best winning % ever and a fantastic career rating.

Vick is actually rather predictable in how he is going to beat you. He is going to run on you. The reason is that he is a very poor and inefficient passer. He has no touch on his throws and cannot read a defense. He wins only when games are close and he isn't forced to throw. Put him down by 2 scores and the fourth and pencil in the 'L'.

Sorry folks, but when I think "Top 5" Quarterbacks, Vick is not even close to getting in. Sure he can scramble out of the pocket and run for a few yards, but he seems to struggle getting the ball to his receivers. Sure, I would want a mobile QB if I were coaching, but I would also want one that can throw the ball accurately as well.......

If you'd rather watch an occasionally exciting player over your own team then you are what the TV networks call - A CASUAL FOOTBALL FAN!

My congrats to you. Enjoy Tiger Woods & women's ice skating along with the LA Lakers. Let the rest of us watch our teams.

Interesting thing I noticed.

In his 3 wins this year, Vick's RBs combined for 550 yards and the defense held teams to 19 total points (1 TD and 4 FGs in 3 games).

In his one loss, the defense allowed 23 points and the RBs gave Vick only 60 yards. That game, they needed Vick to live up to the hype. He failed.

ENOUGH ALREADY! Can a legit Falcons ticket holder put an end to this nonsense? Some perspective is needed urgently.

How would a Falcons put an end to this? Odds are, since they are a fan of the team, they would have an over-inlfated view of Vick.

Vick is a good player, but not a top-5 QB. He is a liability if he is forced to pass, but has amazing running skills. His running skills serve him well when the game is close (or the Falcons have the lead), but his poor passing skills are exposed when he has to play from behind.

I like Vick and maybe a few years ago I would say that he was one of the top five quarterbacks. But I just feel he doesn't have the passion anymore for the game.

Actually I would give the season ticket holder benefit of the doubt if he indeed attends the ATL games. Those paying fans tend to be more objective and more knowledgeable than the average idiot who happens to live in the city where the teams plays. I mean, it's not like the Falcons have won back-to-back Bowls with Vick or anything.

The 85 Bears or the 99 Rams wouldnt have been able to win the reopening of the Superdome game, That being said Vick is a winner and just because he doesnt fit into everyones preconcieved notion of the prototype QB, the so called experts rip him. he is not my favorite QB Eli is but he is my favorite player, watching him take over a game is almost magic. now of those 23 points allowed 6 of those points came off a blocked punt.

He isn't your favorite QB, but he is your favorite player? Doesn't overall player trump QB?

You overstate the unbeatability of the Saints. It was a high-emotion game, but any and all teams are beatable. That this "ubeatable" team managed only 16 points (by your count) is a telling statement.

Again, the only games Vick takes over seems to be games were his defense slams the door on the offense and when he isn't required to throw the ball at all.

Here are Michael Vick's stats He is a 3 time Pro Bowler, having made the team in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

Personally, I don't think Vick really deserved that 2004 spot. At least not ahead of Vinny Freaking Testeverde, who had better numbers than him in 2004

He's a good player, but by no means is he a top 5 passer in the NFC - which is the key for any and all quarterbacks. I'd easily take Donovan McNabb, Eli Manning, Marc Bulger, Jake Delhomme, and Matt Hasselbeck just based on past performances (I know Delhomme and Hasselbeck has done poorly so far this year. But if we're including this year, I'd rather have Rex Grossman (who doesn't look anything LIKE Rex from last season) and Drew Brees. More to the point, look at the top 16 NFC QBs in passer rating right here. Brett Farve is having a better year than Vick so far, and Farve is a shell of his former self!

So, no, I do not think he's a top 5 QB.
