Vick is coming off the two best passing weeks of his career, so I am not going to slag on him.

I will point out that you are using a VERY liberal definition of "top-5". Even with his two great weeks, he isn't even top-5 in ANY passing catergory:
13th in QB rating
NFL.com - NFL Stats
23rd in passing yards
NFL.com - NFL Stats
Tied for 9th in passing TDs
NFL.com - NFL Stats

Calling Vick top-5 is still very much fan supposition.

EDIT: 4-way tie at TDs.

Brady
P. Manning
McNabb
Vick
Brees

Vick is NOT a top 5 passer, but the way he can draw defenses toward containment and open up the secondary...combined with outstanding escapability and running...not to mention that he is a good passer he has to be in the top 5

And like I said before, Vick only wins when his defense is playing well and given a great running game. Vick's contributes more to the Falcons loses than he does their wins.

Case in point: today's game.

And this is why I consider Vick the most over-rated QB in the league. He had TWO good weeks throwing, then returned to his old ways against a terrible Detroit defense. He is a below-average passing QB. Great runner, but he is a liability if you need him to throw.

Kordell Stewart would look good when his defense played well and he didn't have to throw. Every QB looks good with those things. It is the TRUE good QBs who look good when cicrumstances are not ideal. In those conditions, Vick looks his worse.

Make that today's game as well. Frye was the better QB today. Vick's QB rating was 43.4.

I'm not one to say we need to issue a scouting report based on one game, but this is the only Falcons game I've seen all year. Vick wasn't very good. He wasn't accurate and had many bad passes. He had no touch on his passes and threw every pass like a bullet. He didn't do much running either.

okay opening mouth and putting forkful of crow into eating area.....taking my size 10 and inserting,,,,, Vick is worst than a rollercoaster after his 2 weeks as a drop -back passer he has forgotten what has made him great and at 6 years he still has to learn how to carry the ball once he passes the line of scrimmage..... being one of his staunchest fans i like the fans in the dome am booing his preformance for the first time cant beat the lions or the browns that is sad....

Among capable QB's Vick ranks at the bottom. Of course guys like Losman, Brunell, etc are in a league of their own of underachieving, but amongst QBs who light it up Vick is dead last.
