It depends.
Peyton Manning is the better QB statistically (maybe the best ever), but he is also surrounded by talent and gets to basically be the offensive coordinator. Tom Brady is the better QB when it counts. He is clutch. When the playoffs roll around, there is nobody else I would want leading my team. Purely talentwise though, you gotta go with Peyton. |

Well, if Peyton has a better supporting cast why has he won a super bowl...Brady has 3 of those and he is by far the better QB...I hate this debate but Brady is 10-1 in the playoffs, what is peyton record??? |

Peyton is the better QB skillwise but Brady is better where it matters. The question isn't who would you rather have it was who is the better QB. |

This debate is simply the Dan Marino vs Joe Montana, version 2000's. I took Montana then and I'll take Brady today.
Quote:
In the 2005 pro-bowl, Indy had 3 defense players (Freeny, June, & Sanders) and NE had 1 (Seymour). In both playoff games against NE, the Colts moved the football but several times they had a chance to get into the game or take control of the game, Manning threw a pick or made a bad decision. The one Harrison picked off in the end zone early in the game changed the game at that point. Manning needs to prove he can make the clutch play or engineer the key drive against a legit defense in January before he is considered amongst the greatest NFL QB's in history. HOF'r - no doubt first ballot; but IMO he's not in the conversation of the "greatest" one ever until he wins when it matters. |

Well give Brady the weapons that Manning had during those years(harrison, Wayne, EJ, Stockley, and so on) and I guarentee that Brady would have five title, no matter what defense was on the other side... |
