Baltimore at Texans game moved to Monday Night
Because Hurricane Ike is expected to hit land on Saturday there is worries the field will not be useable come kickoff sunday so the league has moved the game to monday night, it will still be on CBS, I wonder if it is competing with ESPN's Monday Night Football. I hope not for their sake because the Ravens at the Texans against ESPN's Eagles and Cowboys game I think I speak for most but there is no way many people would pick the Houston game with McNabb looking sharp and those two being the favorites for that division this game will be big and monday night no less.

This kind of sucks, now their scheduled first Franchise MNF game against the Jags will be their 2nd MNF game, and to make things worse i may not even be able to watch the first
![]() I read the article on the texans site and it said that the game will be on CBS in the local area, does that mean that it will only be on CBS in the Houston area? if so what are the chances ESPN picks this up? |

I think it is CBS everywhere apparently ESPN was making grief about it because they have the full rights to any Monday Night Football, but ESPN realized the bad publicity so they said they wouldn't fight CBS showing a Monday Night Game so I assume it is CBS everywhere, if they do it only local then it will probably only be on Sunday Ticket for Direct TV.

They have moved the game to later in the year, that means Baltimore and the Texans will have to play 15 straight weeks of Football without a break.
I think the Texans are foolish too refuse the game being moved. This could jepordize the health of their players and it could kill the momentum they may or may not have and they will certainly need come december.
