and the Bengals are much better?

Overall both teams suck, but the friggin Raiders could NEVER rush for 300 yards on the Bengals. they just did on the Chiefs. THE RAIDERS!

D Jackson is looking like a burner for sure as a rookie, it's going to be his attitude that kills his ROTY chances if he keeps making stupid plays like the one in the Phi Dall game where he threw the ball back... That being said, with a record to two 100+ yard games to start his NFL career, he could just pull it off, again, if he keeps his head in the game and on the team... What the hell is it with recievers!? It's like you gotta be on crack to play that position!

/\/\/\ Know what though, if Atlanta makes it to .500+, I'd consider giving him the nodd now... On games where he's had time, he's looked good, and no one thought that he would... That's gotta be worth something... The Falcons aren't that stack either...

I've got to give the edge to Forte right now, and if Greaser can continue to open up that running game it should only get better.

Forte ia making things happen for sure as well, but the point I was making is that I think there is less talent in Atlanta then in any of the other places I mentioned... Though Matt's position in Chicago isn't much better, his impact won't be the sole factor in how the Bears do this year... That just isn't the case in Atlanta this year and given the recent problems in Atlanta with the Vick thing, it could proove to be a good angle for the team/league to go that way...

I don't discount your logic at all, Ryan is a very viable canidate. Certainly right there in the mix of things. I am sitting Forte, Johnson, Ryan Jackson right now.

Although I do have to mention my boy Felix Jones. 3 TDs in his first 3 games. He's proving to be a difference maker... if he didn't have Barber in front of him he might be the front runner right now.

I voted Jackson but was thinking that about that almost touchdown. Just hold the ball a few more seconds. Shouldn't that be taught before you turn pro anyway?

I see what you mean, and I agree he is doing good, but he also has 23 more carries than Chris Johnson.

Forte - 73 carries, for 304 yards, at an average of 4.2 yards a carry.

Johnson - 50 carries, for 276 yards, at an average of 5.5 yards a carry.

Man it's like choosing between the 2 hottest chicks one is a blonde one is a brunett. Both of these guys are complete studs, and I've made it a point to watch every game (thank you Superfan) this season because I am completely infactuated with these 2 guys. One is a 25 carry a game stud that gives you that every down back everyone craves. The other is the explosive back that can score anytime he touches the ball. It's hard to say which one is better, they are both great.

I am not so much basing it on raw stats... and I would expect the season stats to finish about on this pace. Just from watching the 2 players in the game, I give Forte a very slight edge. Very slight... both still measurably better than Ryan and Jackson at the moment.

Fleix Jones is having pretty good season, I agree, he should've been on my list but he wasn't really making headlines until after I made this, same with Eddie Royal.

Lots of good rookies this year so far!

DeShawn Jackson, Chris Johnson, Felix Jones, and Matt Forte are the front runners right now.If I had to make a choice from what ive been seeing so far. I am really high on Jackson and Forte to win it.
