I don't get the OJ Simpson throw ins. He was greatness, but you are going to put him ahead of Walter Peyton and Emmitt Smith? And Earl was great too, but not very durable. Frankly I'd already have L.T. ahead of both of those guys and he's no where close to being done.

OJ Simpson was an awesome back. But I agree with what you're saying as far as putting those guys over Payton & Emmitt.

Your right....it was a throw in. Make Ladaian Tomlinson my #5.......as for Walter Payton, he was a very durable back, but had an average Yards Per Carry. "Durable" rarely leads to SuperBowl wins and that is the point of football.

Um... Payton, Smith, and Roger Craig were all Durable backs that have like 6 superbowls between them.

Obviously you can do what you want.

Payton is either 1 or 2. There are not 4 running backs that played the game that was better than him.
