Best Team Defence in the NFL

As a unit, which team has the best overall defence?

I think the Bears have the best, what are everyone's thoughts?

It's gotta be the Bears.

When the Panthers are healthy they aren't half bad either...

They better have the best defense with Rex Grossman back there slinging the ball around (and yes I think they will also be the best overall defense)

Hopefully big Kris Jenkins can stay healthy this year. That guy is an animal in the middle and really boosts their defensive unit

I was mostly talking about him when I said healthy.

I think he got injured in the first regular season game last year..

i agree--bears are good---

philly sucked last year--but this year we might have the best line and the deepest line in the nfl--- howard, patterson, bunckly, kears, with cole, mcdougal (finally healthy), walker, and so on--- up until last year we were always in the top 3 in points allowed and look for us to be back there

Any line with a healthy Jenkins and Peppers on the end has got to be up near the top 2 or 3, surely?

Da Bears D should be the best again. Now they just have to put up 21 points a game.

The Ravens will be right up there with the Bears.

Panthers,Bears,Steelers are all fairly obvious .......... its a defense like Jacksonville thats going to make quiet noise this year - and NO, I am not a Jags fan.

statistically speaking, tampa bay had the #1 total defense. they were followed by chicago, carolina, and pittsburgh i think.

The Bears have the best but I think Miami's D is gonna make some noise this season.
