No surprise he's returning to the Bengals because they really were serious when they said they weren't going to trade him. They proved it when they turned down offer Washington's good offer. But there is still a strong rumor he could end up with the Cowboys and it's been proven Jerry Jones gets what he wants. Pac Man Jones was partially invited back to the NFL and now Jones can focus on getting Chad Johnson. I wonder how T.O. really feels about Ocho Chinco maybe becoming a Cowboy and taking catches away from him since he just signed a 4 year extension.

That's debatable given Chad's yards and the fact that he shares catches with T.J, no slouch as a WR himself.

What I think this whole thing was about was that Chad's tired of being the scapegoat for the team... He was feeling like every time the team underachieved, they blamed him. Hence him making statements like "They can't win with me so I'll go elsewhere" and things of that nature... Just a thought... Which might also be why he's said Dallas since he'd be considered more of a second option kind of thing there...

When you have a big mouth and you are a showboat, you pay the price. This dumb a** got exactly what he deserved, which is nothing. He has no guts at all, and proved that by backing down and crawling back to the Bengals. If I were a D back, I would give this clown one good shot to the head. Then I would watch him crawl into a hole for the rest of the game. He is gutless.

The business end of the game has nothing to do with the playing part of the game... He's one of the best receivers out there and he's shown that he can carry the load... That being said, I'm looking at seeing him shut up soon.

It would be nice to see if he just played and shut up but that is not him it looks like.

Johnson shows up at Bengals camp

Chad Johnson showed up for the start of the Cincinnati Bengals' mandatory minicamp on Thursday. Beyond that, nothing was clear.

The disgruntled receiver didn't participate in the morning workout after telling the team he's got an ailment -- fittingly, there were conflicting descriptions of what was wrong.

After the team asserted that he had refused to practice, Johnson went out for the afternoon workout, caught a few passes during drills, then removed his helmet and covered his head with a white towel, a signal that he was done.
