This is woefully inaccurate.

Big Ben wasn't trying to prove he is elite... he PROVED he was elite. Not only was it far-and-away the best season of his career, it "cost" him a rich contract extention.

The Steelers' record was inflated primarily due to the efforts of Big Ben (and Parker). What killed them was a piss-poor offensive line, thin and aging defense that wore and an injury to Parker.

Too much is put into the retirement of Brett Favre, A-rod showed a lot in the Dallas loss last year he showed that he is ready to lead this team. He won't have to play like Favre because Grant will pound it on the ground and the WR core is amazing and only got better in the offseason remember they lead in Yards after the Catch last year so A-rod doesn't have to gun it down the field. The defense is solid, as is Special teams. People tend to forget Favre didn't win every game last year the Special Team and D won a few as well and they are largely in tact. Remember before you call me biased remember last year early on in the season when I said Pack would win the division and you said I was bias.

Cowboys don't make top 5 for the fact that they are 0-2 in the playoffs with Romo and they are getting too much credit for a team that shares a division with the World Champions and the Eagles who could easily be a very good team with their additions, and the Redskins are not pathetic they won't win the division but they could beat Dallas. They would be top 10 easy but not top 5.

Packers over the Cowboys is a flipping joke. Yes.. Cowboys are 0-2 in the play-offs under Romo. What is Rogers' post-season record?

I would take the Cowboys, Pats, Colts, Giants, Jags, Browns and Chargers over the Packers without a moment's hesitation.

I have to agree, Cowboys are among the Top 2 in the NFC right now.

Here is my my top 5 list
1. NY Giants. I don't like them but since they are the World Champions they have to be considered No.1 at least untill the season starts.
2.New England Patriots- Untill Tom Brady play drops off they always have to be considered one of the best.
3. Indianpolis Colts- Same as the Patriots untill Peyton Manning skills erode they won't miss the playoffs either.
4.Jacksonville- Outstanding Defense and great running game with Maurice-Jones Drew and a healthy Fred Taylor.
5. San Diego Chargers- Lt is still the best RB in the game and they could have beaten the Pats even with LT hurt and Phillp Rivers earned my respect playing with a partial torn ligament . They are going to be there in the end despite Norv Turner I am a Skins fan so I am not a big Norv Turner fan as a coach.
other's considered
6. Cowboys- Untill they win a playoff game they can't be a top 5 team it doesn't matter how many pro bowl players they have it means nothing if you
don't win in the post season.
7. Minnisota Vikings- I know this is shocking because they didn't make the playoffs but their defense is outstanding and it got better by trading for Jared Allen. Their main weakness is a big one at QB but I think Travais Jackson will be better this season he can't get any worse then he was last season.

The Jaguars did play tough against the Patriots in the playoffs, but they ended up losing by 11. Close game, but not "one catch" close. They played from behind for most of the game.

If the Jaguars play better in 2008 than I think they will, I'll be the first one to admit I'm wrong and offer an engraved apology. I'm cool like that.

I Love How Everyone Just Picks The Teams With The Elite QB's As Their Top 5. It's Not About The QB, Its About The WR And The Blocking. QB's Help, But With Great O-Line's A Mediocre QB Can Win The Superbowl.
