Exactly, if Rod Smith gets mentioned then you have to open the door up to guys like Jimmy Smith as well.

Personally, I thought that Troy Aikman was a bit overrated (just my opinion, I mean no disrespect.) But Irvin, no matter how much I hate him as a person, was most certainly not. Irvin was a phenominal talent. His career has been far superior to Moss', and that's not hard to see.

The only thing about WR's that is definite is that Jerry Rice is the best there ever was, and no one else is really close at all at this point.
100% agree with you every point... Irvin changed the game in ways people can't even imagine. Stats aside, I'd place him #2, behind the second man you mention in the post... Though he was the GOAT, his impact on the game was not as huge as Irvin's IMHO... Irvin did for the WR what LT did for linebackers... It's nice to place players that are still playing in these lists based on what they could possibly do, but in the end, if they were to end it all tomorrow, they would fall short of the mark... Until they do it, they haven't done it and that's all there is to it... This was a list made of two completly #1 GOAT and #2 Best Playing Today...

Yeah I would switch Randy Moss with Marvin Harrison.

Why no love For Art Monk? He was one of the greatest WRs in the NFL remember when he retired he was the all time leading reception leader in NFL history. I would put Art Monk where Charley Taylor is ranked and put Charley where at#9 where T.O. is ranked. I would take T.O off the list he is No. 11 in my opnion.
