Looks like the Romo-Sexuals are going to be re-writing the 101 Ways to Defend Our Sav

Somone thought that this might be a good topic at this site but didn't want to post it, so I'll post it for them.

"Looks like the Romo-Sexuals are going to be re-writing the 101 Ways to Defend Our Savior book all over again" not my words but I'm betting he's right. LMFAO!

What's to defend? He didn't have a very good game, particularly in the 2nd half when regardless of the pass rush he lost his composure. He still QB'd his team to a 13-3 record and established himself as one of the best QBs in the game. He'll need to work on a lot of the little things over the off-seaon, but yep, he had a crappy game, not sure I've seen one Cowboy fan here say otherwise.

no doubt Romo is a good QB, but he has alot of growing up to do before he's considered a top QB. Peyton Manning or Tom Brady wouldn't be goin on a vacation during a Playoff Bye-week, Why? because they actually study the teams they could be facing, getting prepared mentally and physically, working on his game and practicing, instead of taking Jessica on a vacation when he can take her to Hawaii next month for the Pro Bowl. (I guess he could'nt control his raging Rom-ones )

Plus when a young QB is getting highly frustrated during a 2-minute drill, you know he ain't going to get the win.

I said it earlier, and I will say it again. The last thing the Cowboys want is Romo to become the celebrity QB. T.O. is enough to deal with in himself, Romo needs to focus on football. He is now 0-2 in the playoffs, and has had HUGE miscues in both games.

Obviously the bobbled snap comes to mind from last years playoff game, and this years huge miscue (among others) was when he missed a wide open T.O. by 3 yards. He was already dealing with the whole Jessica situation already, the last thing he should have done was go to Mexico with her a week before the divisional playoff game. He is a good QB. But he needs to focus on football to become a great QB.

I couldn't believe it yesterday during the game when they said he went on vacation...that is just bizarre. You have to concentrate on football during these times.

I agree. He should have been planning on the game instead of playing around in Mexico, same with Witten and if any others went.

Oh, I didn't even know only players went too...why would the coaches let them go?

I can almost guarantee you, that if the Giants' center was snapping the ball in the shotgun, like the Dallas center was, the Giants would have lost or found someone else to snap the damn ball.

Romo should not have had to spend so much time concentrating on receiving the snap. I think he probably lost 1 second of pocket time every time because of it. Put him at a distinct disadvantage.

You can bet your bottom dollar that this wouldn't have happened under Tuna's watch

Yeah, I know Witten went, but I think a couple others did too.

Parcells probaby woudn't have let it happen, but we probably would have been a 10-6 wildcard team if he was still here too.

Eh, all I have to say is I'm still a fan, will never waver in that. I still support Romo, still love the guy as our QB. Just comes with experience, Peyton didn't win his first few playoff games so I'm not too worried. It is a team game, we win as a team and we just lost as a team. TO got that one right, and for people to blame Romo solely for the loss and the vacation as the reason it is a stupid assumption. The rest of the team didn't play up to expectations as well, so hey it's not all Romo's fault.

So I guess me saying the blame isn't all on him would be "defending my savior".

I mean I guess we could take into account Crayton dropping two balls and quitting on a route that would have been the go ahead touchdown (He was open...but let up....and the ball went a tab bit further than he could reach).....Or the center having a straight ass game in getting Romo the ball on time....Or the offensive line playing like trash the second half.....Or the mound of dumb penalties....Or Reeves sucking beyond belief....Or the refs screwing Ware over saying he was offsides when he wasn't and it should have resulted in a 4th down (watch that damn play).....Or the horrible tackling.

Looking at all of this...it's clear it was Romo who choked....thank you for opening my eyes.
