ESPN - Sources: USC's Carroll interested in Falcons' opening - NFL

Looks like Pete Carroll is thinking about going to the Falcons. This should open up the Pac-10 and I think he is going to be successful in Atlanta. After all, he did fine at New England before being fired in favor of...the hoodie.

Good match if you ask me. He can bring a winning attitude to that organization but I wonder if he'll ever get the urge to return to the college ranks

It might proove to be interesting. But in past instances, hot shot college coaches are hit and miss in the pro game... But given that he apaprently was around the game for a time, it might just be a good thing... Time will tell.

He would be an idiot to leave USC for Atl... even if they give him total control.
