New England Patriots it really bothers me

It really bothers me that a team of known cheaters will go down with a perfect record. It also bothers me that I would ever see the league in such disarray that they would support these cheaters to accomplish great records. It is obvious that the referees had their head up their asses. Need not look further from the tacky tack fouls called on the Giants, as the ridiculous holding call on Toomer, the ridiculous unsportsmanlike call on the sidelines with Toomer the atrocious illegal contact call after Brady got sacked on 3rd down, and Moss pushing off of everyone in the end zone. I do not even have to go back to the Ravens game where more unnecessary help was given to the "best team in the NFL." I am not trying to say the patriots are not great team. They have great athletes on their team. There is something however which can always be labeled with this team. "CHEATERS" They are also cheap shot artists and I need not look farther then Wilfork and Harrison. I am sorry but this really bothers me.

Don't forget the no-calls on Moss tackling a Giant player in the backfield that they showed on instant replay and the no-call on Brady when the time clearly ran out before he even moved to signal time out. I think the refs were afraid to make the big call that might prevent the Pats from being undefeated. Hopefully, we can get better refs in the playoffs.

Giants fan here.

Thought they beat us fair and square.

Yes, some callls went against us, but that 15 yard celebration penalty against New England was bogus and there was also a personal foul for hitting out of bounds against N.E. on
one of our Kickoff returns that was questionable.

If the refs really wanted to screw us they could have called a bogus roughing the passer penalty against us several times.

Being a bitter loser does not make the game more fun. Relax and enjoy watching the greatest sports dynasty of all-time.

Does that negate a failure to hold Moss down the field or stop Maroney in the redzone. No matter what excuses you use the patriots still made the plays they needed to beat the Giants. Excuses are only for those who make them, the Giants still got whooped convincingly, let's not start whinning.

Ya, and Even with all that "help" that the pats had from the ref's, the giants still had plenty of chances to win that game...and they failed, just like the others.

Boo-hoo. If I've learned a thing this season, it's that ignorant people, when faced with a team much better than their's, will, instead of thinking for themselves, simply repeat what the talking heads online and on TV say. For example, "New England cheats and has no class." Yeah...we've heard that a million times and we don't care. Only bitter fans of other teams will put that label on them. They're, by many, many measurements, the greatest regular-season team ever. Get over it, move on, and get a hobby.

For sure the Pats are a great team, no doubt, and will probably will win the SB but don't push aside what they did at the beginning of the year as no big deal. It was classless and if it were my team I would care. The story will never die even in the future when anyone brings up the 2007 Pats and how great they were.

People keep throwing around the word "class." No one even considered using that word to describe the NFL until Tomlinson was a sore loser and cried on TV about the Patriots stomping his overrated team at home. This isn't little league. The players are paid to score and to win. If New England scores 50, it is the fault of the opposing defense.

I'm with the no class thing even before LT called it and whined. When you could be running out the clock, you don't bomb it down field to try and get the giant TD, you don't need it, you're up by 25 already...But, they had the weapons to do it, so they did it. No ifs ands or buts about it. They wanted the records, they got em. They wanted undefeated, they got it. They want the super bowl, they will get it. Props to the Pats for getting what they did, regardless of what people say.

First of all, I don't know how you can call 14-2 overrated. And second of all, there is a difference here.

What the Patriots did last year against the Chargers was classless. They did the opposing players dance at midfield, after they just won the game. In the playoffs. That is just tasteless. Yes, you won the game, just congratulate the other team for a great season. LT had every right to say what he did and act the way he did. The Patriots weren't even the best team during this season.

However, what the Patriots did this season was NOT classless. They had the weapons to completely dominate everybody. And they did. That is not their fault. The blame is solely on the 16 teams who couldn't get it done.

There is a major difference from last year's incident to this season.

The 2006 Chargers went 14-2 in the regular season...

Anyways, re-read my post. I said what the Patriots did in the playoffs LAST YEAR to the Chargers was classless.

What they did this year with the filming, running up the score, etc. was not classless. They were just better than any team they played. I never said I hated them and I never said they were not great.
