~~I Need a Lock~~

I'm entering a new football pool, pricer then most i have participated in in the past, and aside from your picks is an elimination pool where you try and pick one winner each week until a team you pick loses, then your out of the elimination pool. You cant pick the same team twice so I want some feedback about who you feel is an absolute LOCK for week 1. Personally im leaning towards Arizona, theyre a flakey team but riding on a wave of hype i dont think they should have a problem handling the unchanged sorryniners for at least the first week. Also I think Phillip Rivers is going to lead SD to one of their worst seasons ever so I wouldnt mind going against him with Oakland on the Monday Night Stage. Any THOUGHTS???????????????????

Actualy I think that 49ers / Cardinals game could be the kind of game where they get upset.

Everything is new, the ball will bounce weird this first week. I would not trust the Cardinals in week 1.

My pick is Philly over Houston. I am nervous though, a few years back I had Miami over Houston in week 1 and Houston upset them. So I procede with caution here.

I've been in such a pool for the past five years, and week 1 is always the most difficult. Some years, I've gone with heavy favorites, others I've tried to not "waste" my picking of a team that was likely to be a sure favorite.

I'm still on the fence about it this year... May go NE over Buffalo; but am considering Arizona over Niners, or possibly even Carolina over Atlanta

I'd go with the Pats, and that's not a homer pick. (Well, maybe a little.)

Not sure what the current line is as I locked it in at -6.5 but Carolina -6.5 this week is a good play at home vs ATL.

I forget who i went with in this pool. I'm in 2 or 3 of them and picked different teams each time.

Betting against Oakland on a Monday Night.... Might not be smart

Your lock is without a doubt the Philadelphia Eagles. They WILL take care of business this Sunday down in Houston. Check my signature for an explanation & more picks if you're interested.

How are the Eagles a lock, they have no recievers, no runningback and a QB under more pressure every year then louis andersons belt. Ive narrowed my lock to Arizona or NE between the two who is the better choice KEEPING IN MIND that you cant pick the same team twice so getting a team like AZ out of the way early is a good idea.
