I agree he is bottom 5 while he's a starter. He barely threw any passes and for good reason. Poor accuracy. Still, he didn't screw up bad enough since they went 2-1 in those games. Definitely a good thing Garrard is back for this weekend though.

The Jags play-off hopes COULD have been ended by his play. He is a liability, but they managed to go 2-2 during his extended play. Over those four games, he has a QB rating in the low 60's. More importantly, statistics aside, he looks wretched.

Supposed to be a great year for QBs, but all depends on if Childress is fired or not. He is still standing behind Jackson and saying that he still needs time to be evaluated (not that he really could say anything else though). Childress seems to still be under the impression that his uber-genius and "kick ass offense" is all that is needed to turn Jackson into a star. If Childress is still running the show, I doubt we draft a QB.

If Childress is fired (and there was much rejoicing), then a 1st round QB is quite possible. Even likely, if we can't secure a QB via trade or FA. Vikes need to win now if they want any chance of a SuperBowl with the current core of the team. If they are going to wait the 3-years to develop a rookie, they will also need to rebuild the defense as well. On that side of the ball, all the high-end players have already hit their prime or already in decline.

Vince Young shouldn't be on this list he doesn't have any decent WRs. Rex Grossman should be on the list. As for Tarvaris Jackson what did the Vikings see in him at Alabama State for them to think this is the guy who will lead them to the SuperBowl?

IMO, the jury is still out on Vince Young and Leinart, so neither should be on that list (yet)

Tarvaris Jackson is a disaster. He is by far the worst QB in the NFL. I don't know what the Vikings would do without Adrian or Chester.
