Koren Robinson Out of a job

Well, it looks like Koren Robinson is looking for a new job. According to reports I have seen, he finally got in enough trouble to be dropped. I just can not wrap my thoughts around losing several MILLION DOLLARS, rather then giving up drinking....... From the reports I read, even if he didn't get bounced by the Vikings, he was looking at a full year suspension, for substance abuse.....

I just don't know what some people are thinking, sometimes. Maybe this is what it takes for him to snap out of it and get help, though. Can't play much football if yer sick or dead.

I was under the impression, that this was only true if you played for the Bengals..... It's almost like it's a requirement, in order to make the team....

Football's the worst in sports for these sorts of things. I'd say NBA is probably next.

in the words of Red Foreman...dumbass! It is sad, he was looking like he was on his game and was going to fill in nicely there in Minnesota, guess teh Vikings have had enough with off-field distractions.

It's easy to comment, saying he should just give up drinking. Problem is that it's not as simple as that. Alcoholism is a disease and K-Rob is sick. It's not so easy when the stuff is so readily available and inexpensive. Alcohol is in your face everywhere you go. I've seen alcohol ruin peoples lives. I've seen people dry out only to go back to it once there is some stress in their lives. K-Rob needs to put himself in rehab and then get some good support to help him stay sober. Even then it probably will be hard for him. I wish him the best of luck.

i don't know why celebrities and athletes are always critisized for being arrested for things like substance abuse. just because they get payed millions of dollars to do what they do DOESN'T mean they are model citizens as well. i'm not saying that its okay that stuff like this happens, I'm just saying its not that big of a deal. these problems happen to the poorest and the richest. its a part of life in america and i don't think the media shouldn't blow up these issues for celebrities.

I think it's because whether they like it or not, they are role models for the younger generation of people who look up to them and want to be like them. So when something like this comes along, it's important to point out that this is something you don't want to be like when you're older.
