Garrard named starter, Leftwich to be cut or traded

I agree with this decision. Garrard is the better QB in this offence.

Which teams out there might want Leftwich?

Schaub? He's in Houston....Joey harrington is starter there right now. But Leftwich is a good backup/starter if he goes there.

Leftwich is a good enough QB, mainly has health problems recently, I actually think a place like Green Bay would, hypothetically, be a REALLY good fit, but it'll never happen

Yeah, but with a fairly inconsistant starter in Harrington, Leftwich would have a chance to step up and steal the show if anything happened.

I heard from someone that he said he wanted out of that "redneck town", and Del Rio granted his wish. I don't know if this is true, but I heard it from another forum.

They are letting him go because they feel Garrard gives them a better chance to win.

Leftwich deserves to move on and do well elsewhere. A good portion of the fans in Jacksonville are morons.

I agree that Garrard is the better fit. NFL netwrok is reporting ATL is not interested. I'm thinking Tampa bay, but he'd probably have a better chance to start at KC. Whoever it is will definitely wait for him to be released. No one is going to pay him 5 million knowing the Jags are going to cut him. They picked a bad time to do it for his sake though.
