No proof he was driving the car yet so it's far too premature. Tough to do anything after the fact as well although you have to think he had something he shouldn't have and thats why he bolted.

Unless he wasn't paying his Lambo insurance like Pacman jones, the only reason to flee the scene is when you know you did something that you don't want the police to write down in the report. Wreckless driving, DUI, who knows. Around Philly they have cameras all over the highways now, I wonder if Chi-town does the same.

Briggs has admitted that he was driving and said he left because he just panicked and then reported it stolen. I if they can't prove he had been drinking, and/or no one comes out as a witness to seeing him leave somewhere drunk, it's nothing more than a Class C Misdotmeanor which is about as serious as a speeding ticket. Goodell can't touch that.

The interesting thing is that he called 911 at 4am... that would leave any normal football fan to believe he was probably drunk.

How the HELL can you abandon a $350,000 car!!! If I crashed one I would have gotten it to a body shop ASAP, esp. a Lamborghini. Or hell, next time Lance just give me a call and give me the car. A crashed Lamborghini is still better than no Lamborghini at all.
