Henson was a much better football player than a baseball player. He was a two year starter at UM, and had he not gone on abouut how he wanted to play baseball, he would have been a top 10 draft pick.
Another good potential career gone down the toilet. For shame. |

I dunno, this has happened before. I remember having (and still have) a Bo Jackson football AND baseball card in my collection. Hey, if they have the talent, more power to 'em. They are confident enough in themselves that they are willing to risk "failure" in another sport.
There are plenty of high school athletes who play multiple sports, maybe in some cases it translates to a switch later on. |
