Athletes switching sports

What's up with all these pros wanting to play other sports? First there was Micheal Jordan and baseball, now its Drew Henson to football.

They didn't make enough where they were?

Henson was a much better football player than a baseball player. He was a two year starter at UM, and had he not gone on abouut how he wanted to play baseball, he would have been a top 10 draft pick.

Another good potential career gone down the toilet. For shame.

Well, I guess that they want to try...something new. And with their current known status, they must have pretty good insides to help them do just that.

I dunno, this has happened before. I remember having (and still have) a Bo Jackson football AND baseball card in my collection. Hey, if they have the talent, more power to 'em. They are confident enough in themselves that they are willing to risk "failure" in another sport.

There are plenty of high school athletes who play multiple sports, maybe in some cases it translates to a switch later on.
