Ok I voted for Harrison, because he is the best WR on that list... however if I had to take one of those guys for my team right now I'd take CJ... and Javon Walker/Andre Johnson are close 2nds.

I gotta go with TO - he tore up Dallas for so long with the 49ers and the Eagles, and now that he's a Cowboy I can't say how happy I am. When you look purely at skill and what he produces, he's the best WR and almost a lock for the HOF...

People don't realize this but he was numbers wise too... when you look at both Yards and TDs recieving... his NFL ranks averaged together make him the highest of the guys on the list.

marvin harrison is the best not only is he a good route runner and has great hands but he never complains about anything andre johnson and chad johnson are right behind him

I think you have to take into consideration that he's 37yrs old and that he's had the best QB in the league throwing to him... his speed, strength, jumps and catching ability are all decent or good, but he's not GREAT at any of them and even weak at a few...

TO on the other hand has had a variety of QB's throw to him and has always produced, he has the speed to blow past guys like Deangelo Hall and the strength to get away from guys like Champ Bailey... he also has phenomenal leaping ability to get up and grab the ball and makes some of the most rediculous catches you can imagine (though when his finger's broken, he also makes alot of drops...)

I'm not saying Harrison isn't a good WR, but I honestly don't think he's the best... and if you're basing this only on Stats, then you might as well crown Tony Romo the best QB in the NFL ahead of Peyton Manning b/c he had better Comp %, QB Rating, and if you prorate his numbers out, he'd have had a better season all together... but nobody would buy that crap unless you're in a fantasy football league and stats are all that matter.

voted Boldin he's the only one on that list that hasn't had a good QB until recently..but my best is def Andre Johnson

And Harrison is not underrated, he's overrated, I mean Peyton is the best QB in the league and has unbelievable passing skills, I mean I could probably be a reliable guy for Manning too

Marvin Harrison is BY FAR, the best technical route runner on that list.

Manning owes him a great deal in terms of both his stat lines and rapid rate of development as a QB.

Obviously, he's not as athletic as others on the list (largely due to his age) but without question, Marvin makes Canton well ahead of the other options.

EDIT - I hate TO, but I have to admit that he's is a greater combination of athleticism and technical route-running ability. Also, TO is an @ss and is less reliable from an injury standpoint...which is why I rank him below Marvin.

Jesus Christ hit_'em! You can rest assured that none of us will live to see Rice's records broken.

That's a god damn guarantee. There's no one within a mile of him. Not today and not on the horizon.

Note, I'm not trying to give ya crap here, just shocked out of my chair by your comments is all.

Boldin in 4 years:342 rec. 4605yds. 20tds. (only played in 10 games in '04)
Rice in 4 years:264 rec. 4881yds 49tds
Rice Career:1549 rec. 22895 yds 197 tds
boldin wont get double covered because of larry fitzgerald's threat like rice did who didn't have a great compliment other than john taylor but fitzgerald is more of a threat than taylor was

1. Boldin's already behind Rice by almost 30 TDs in the first 4 years alone. He'll never make that up. N-E-V-E-R.

2. Rice had 11 monster seasons after that, including an insane 1850 yards in the 1995 season.

DEF not bagging on Boldin, but Rice is a once-in-a-lifetime story. He also had the benefit of playing with (not one but) two HoF QBs. It was the perfect storm. 197 (receiving) + 10 (rushing) TDs? Never gunna see that again my good man. Never.
