Best Year in Football?

What do you guys think is the best year in football history, and why? It could be because of a few more excellent players or plays than normal, something else, or a combination of things. Just curious, as I'm not too familiar with football history.

1985 was a good year but I liked the late 70's too. I miss the Killer B's.

Last year was pretty entertaining. Seems like every year gets better than the year before it.

Well not that I saw any of it but 1972 was the year I was born and also the year the Miami Dolphins went undefeated so I would say that was my best year for football. It's been all downhill since then

The seasons are not extremely long compared to baseball and hockey. That way, I find that each seasons are always interesting without having the time to run dry.

Figures that 1985 was a good year...I was born then.

I remember being forced to watch vhs tapes in gym class that went through the history of football year by year. Only now do I wish I could remember what they said!

1980...should have been the year of the Falcons.
