true...im a cowboys fan but there is no one i would rather have beat us then legendary brett farve. the guy is a living playing legend. seriously he is the only guy in the nfl that is playing that has a plaque in canton just waiting for him to retire. the only thing keeping him out is the fact he is still playing..
Cmon brett!!

Brett will be remembered as a great QB, but not a top 10 QB of all time. But a Super Bowl ring at 40 could catapult him into that elite level of QB.
Having said that, I expect the Saints to beat the Vikes this weekend. |

1. Dan Marino
2. Joe Montana 3. Steve Young 4. Payton Manning (I know he's still active, but he's THAT good) 5. Warren Moon 6. Joe Nameth 7. Troy Aikman 8. John Elleway 9. Bart Star/Brett Favre 10. Johnny Unitas My list... When it comes to characters though, no question... Brett's #1. He's a legend.

Ten QB's better than Favre? Hmmmm...
1. Joe Montana 2. Dan Marino 3. Otto Graham 4. John Elway 5. Johnny Unitas 6. Peyton Manning 7. Steve Young 8. Dan Fouts 9. Kurt Warner 10. Terry Bradshaw Nah -- he has to crack _that_ lineup somewhere. Maybe after Young, but ahead of Fouts.

Not to take anything away from the subject of this thread - yes, he's an all-time great - but I've been stricken with Brett Favre fatigue. I'd rather see him walk away from the game that become the Jay Leno (if you get my drift) of NFL quarterbacks...

I'm a huge Cowboys fan. I hate that we lost to Brett and the Vikings. But you sure have to respect Brett Favre. I don't know how people can't love the guy, even though his playing style ends up losing games ever so often. He's one of the toughest MF's the game has ever seen. The Vikings should have beat the Saints. They totally outplayed them. It would have been nice to see Brett int he Super Bowl this year.
