Hope no one went to the bathroom before the game. 7-0 Bears already on a Interception returned for a TD by Urlacher

Announcers made an interesting point. Adversity for Rivers in the preseason will be a good thing. If he has to battle all preseason it'll prepare him for the games that matter.

I'll be watching the NYJ-WAS game tonight. Curious to see how Ramsey does penciled in as starter, with no Pennington pushing him from behind.
I don't believe any of the hype pimped on the sports radio stations here about the animosity felt between Ramsey and the Skins. It's all a big ploy. Let's just play some football. |

All the Games Scheduled for Today
I can not believe it, with all the games scheduled for today(Saturday) and tomorrow, we here in South Texas will only get Sunday's night game. As a Time Warner Cable Subscriber, that is the only game. They supposedly tried to get NFL Network but they say negotiations fell through. I guess the NFL just is not making enough money from just the major networks like CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX on football games that they are putting them on ESPN and then there is the NFL Network which is only available on Direct TV Satellite Dish systems as far as I know. There are quite a few people that I know of living in the area that just can not afford cable or dish services.
Also I have noticed that the networks do not show double header games that much anymore. If one does have a double header game, then the other one does not have a double game. Then the following week, they change positions. Can you say "collusion or set-up"? |

I have finished watching the whole Broncos vs Titans game, and the best way I can put it is WOW!!! The first string for Denver was hitting on all cylinders, and puched in to the endzone more then once....
Rod Smith caught a couple of great passes, and the rookie RB Bell, ran in for a couple of TD's. The best part of the whole game, was that there Denver did not have any turnovers, not even the third string.... The only play I didn't like, was when Plummer tried to "Flip" a ball in the Endzone, when he was heading out of bounds. If it would have been called a fumble, on the field of play, the Titans could have came up with the ball, and ended the drive. Come on Jake, wake up and stop making plays like that..... ![]() |
