TSN : NFL - Canada's Sports Leader

The Patriots are big players in the FA market this season. I'm assuming this ends the Moss speculation.

You could always get Moss. I'm sure Philadelphia won't have a problem dealing with a primadonna receiver.

dear god no.

i know we didnt want to overpay, but brown is our only go to guy and and avant is an up and coming guy...so were stuck with no stand out talent at WR yet again...

sheesh..i friggin liked stallworth a lot too.

Obviously a stand out receiver for Philadelphia is important, but with McNabb playing at full health it's not a HUGE issue. People forget the Eagles have won several division titles with just this problem, not having a good too guy, and IMO it wasn't the lack of a receiver that cost the team in those NFC Championship games.

lol. i didnt consider it stealing, mainly cause i like the saints too(got family on the gulf in mississippi)

you make some really good points there. its just that much nicer to have that go to guy...it reinforces the core of WR. i thought that stallworth was that guy when we picked him up...i especially wantted him to be since i liked him from his days in NO too..unfortunatly it was not meant to be

If the Pats do get Moss, then i'm lookin for them to go on a nice long superbowl win streak. Especially now since they've also added Adalius Thomas on D.
