Denver CB Darrent Williams Shot and Killed

A little after 2 a.m., a white Hummer limousine was sprayed with bullets from a vehicle that pulled up along its side, said Sonny Jackson, spokesperson for the Denver Police Department.
Three people in the limousine were hit and were taken to area hospitals, where one man was pronounced dead, Jackson said. The other man and woman who were shot were not identified

24 years old. Terrible news.

I wonder what the motive was...

Hopefully it had nothing to do with losing the game against the 49ers..

this is sad news, but nothing good happens after 3:00am, he was a tredemdous talent, and I want to send my condolences to the Williams family, R.I.P. Darrent.

Very sad to see such a young life taken away by senseless violence.....my condolences goes out to his 2 young kids, family and friends

but you know what, it pains me to say this, but these guys need to learn that going to these nightclubs, and hanging with the wrong people can get you killed.

Oh can think of some good things that happenafter 3:00 AM.

Besides it was 2:00 on New Yeas Eve, not that unusual.

The good news is it sounds like the police have good leads on the killers. A friend of mine who works at one of the paper said there are plenty of witnesses.
