Ever since Mike Brown took over the Bengals I would consider them the worst managed NFL teams. Mike is very good at making money off the city but when it comes to winning games he's content with a 50% win/loss season. He considers that a winning season as long as the stupid fans fill the stadium.

Ohio has one pro-team (the Browns), a Semi-pro team (the Bengals) and of course the best damn band and college team in the nation (the Ohio State University)

Go Buckeyes

This shouldn't even be a question. The Detroit Lions by FAR. WR's in the first round the past 3 or 4 years? I know everyone is saying they're going to pay off sooner or later but come on, they still have one of the worst defenses and O-line.

Thank god someone finally said it. I am scrolling through this thread and I couldn't believe no one had mentioned the Bengals. Worse than Detroit, Houston and Arizona combined.

I think this weeks loss in Atlanta shows that this team will continue it's traditional sucking well into this season... Until the Lion make the playoffs again, I really don't think there is any competition for the crown of suckiness that the Lions wear firmly on their heads!

Real talk, that organization will NEVER move forward until Davis relinquishes control, which we all know won't happen until he's dead...like you said, IF in fact he is mortal....

They CLEARLY get the vote here, IMO. Just INEXCUSABLY poor underachieving year after year. It didn't even look like they were TRYING last night against the Broncos....you spend ALL that money to improve your secondary, then (on OPENING NIGHT, no less!) promptly give up 146 yards to a ROOK?!?

I would say the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry Jones is too invovled often time his involvment hurts them, and honestly he has put a team together of the most egotistical divas and scum bags the league has to offer and he wonders why they haven't won a playoff game in 12 years.

He needs to realize from the other NFC teams that actually WON games in January. The Giants, The Packers, and the Seahawks. It is not how many stars you have but it is the chemistry of the team.

Hell look at other sports, look at the man you would think taught Jerry Jones how to run things, George Steinbruner (sp?). He thinks that money is going to bring the Yankees back to glory just as Jerry thinks he can buy himself the Lombardi Trophy.

The thing is you got a Divas all around you have two players who are a arrest away from being careerless, and you got a Quarterback who finds dating tinsletown whores and trips to mexico more important than working those extra hours that it takes to win in January.

Dallas is a powder keg ready to blow I don't think the team is ready for any adversity. If the Cowboys loose any number of games this year any chemisry they may have will be out the window all it takes is TO to point fingers at the defense or something of the like and the team crumbles. If it doesn't happen in the season you better believe the offseason is going to be full of it if they get the first round bye and loose the first game yet again.

Jerry Jones has built a team of hired guns surrounding the few people who are truly team players and hopes for greatness and a lousy coach to boot. Jerry Jones is the reason the Cowboys fell from grace to begin with and he should hire a GM and a coach and just sit in his office and count his money instead of trying to do everything on his own.

That is my opinion there are some bad ones out there but they have all been mentioned to I figured bring up the one that nobody has yet.

I would have to go with the Raiders...I really hate all of their management and Upper Management.

RE: The Raiders...

Everybody forgets they were just in the Super Bowl not so long ago... They were in the SUPER BOWL!!!

With a bit of luck and some production, they could possibly slide into a Wild Card... They've got a better chance then the Lions...

When was the last time the Lions were even in the playoffs? Seriously... When was the last time they were in the Super Bowl? When was the last time they even had a .500 season?

Not to revive an older thread, but the Lions might just have made one of the better moves in recent franchise history... Thing may be changing, as long as they stop taking WRs with their first round picks!

Al Davis has completely lost his mind. The most inept franchise right now is the Raiders because they likely won't get any better until David drops dead.

Hahahaha... You may have a point! I saw the interview where he fired the coach and the man looks the way a 50 year old corpse would if you reanimated it and drapped loose fitting skin on it... Ah to be rich a cenile... It's odd though, that the organization hasn't removed him from control... Even if he is the owner a franchise has a right to protect itself if it's primary stick holders feel that the decisions made by the owner are in contrary to the franchises' best interests... Still say the Lions top the chart though, but I'm starting to see where you guys are going with the Raiders thing...

That being said, did any of you guys catch the press interview with him? He stops for a whole five seconds or more trying to think of a way to put not paying the guy into a context where he wouldn't look like a complete ass... And apparently it's not the first time... Furthermore, he starts off by saying he was fired for "cause", then admits that it was based on personality conflicts with him...

I think the Raiders offically just over took the Lions as the worst run organization in the NFL. The Lions improved themselves when they fired Matt Millen. The Raiders untill Al Davis sells that team they will continue to be a bad team.

Historically, the Lions and Cardinals write the book on futility. Especially the Cardinals. Tampa Bay and Cincy have had their moments as well.

But presently, the worst-off teams are Oakland, Detroit (though firing Millen is a start) and I'd argue Cincinnati. Brown is rearing his ugly head again. We were the worst franchise in the NFL during the 1990's, and it looks like we may be going down that path again.
