Seattle Seahawks Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks will just get better and better as the season rolls on. I see them peaking in January and February. I started this new thread because the only other thread is about a "curse". You see, there is no such thing as a "curse". In football or otherwise. Teams win or lose based on preparation and talent.

Seattle is loaded with talent. If the Seahawks lose a game it is not because Shaun got his foot hurt. We might be the only team in the league that can absorb the temporary loss of the league MVP and still rattle off wins.

Tonites game should prove my point. Look for the Seahawks DEFENSE to stuff the run and show Rex some looks that will confuse him. Our defense will take it to the house at least once. And our offense wont be as shut down as you think. Chicago is another step toward the Super Bowl and the Seahawks will win tonite.

Seattle Seahawks Nice Game Bears

Chicago played a great game and showed that they are the best team in the NFL after week 4. Hopefully the Seahawks can rebound from this and be better prepared in January.

I have to tell you, the Seahawks looked out of sinc this week, I couldn't believe what I was watching. Sure the Bears have a great team, but the Seahawks are not a lousy team by any means, but they sure looked like it Sunday. I like Seattle as a team, and thought they would do better.....

Well I'm guessing you have been vacationing in Austria for a few weeks but Seattle is not at full strength these days and SF has made some adjustments on defense since their October beatdowns. I really don't think it's that big of an upset - Seattle barely won in SF a year ago and the gap between the two teams is smaller this season.

I was at the game and I present these nuggets

  • Gore could not be stopped 9 times out of 10 from getting big yards.
  • Wallace threw 2 gift-wrapped interceptions that killed SEA drives.
  • Smith avoided the INT by throwing balls away.
  • Niners were about to blow the game but their defense (Lewis and Moore especially) made some key plays.
  • Alexander was not much of a factor in the first half

Week 12, Favre vs. his old mentor Holmgren always seems to make for a good matchup . . .

Somewhat but more so in GB when Holmgren returns there.

Last year's game was week 17 - GB playing out string and SEA already clinched. I remember Alexander setting the record and not much else.

Love seeing snow in Seattle, we just don't get much snow on the valley floor in the NW.
