Nice acquisition there for the Seahawks. They are crowded at WR now with D. Jack, Burleson, Engram and now Branch.

i would say so for sure. great aquisition for them. gave up a first rounder but who cares? it will pay divedens if they can make it deep into the playoffs again this year. AND they got a former SB MVP to boot.

i just hope they dont make it to the NFC Championship game so the eagles dont have to beat them

Now that they have a great receiving corps and a good defense, there are no excuses. This team should be back in the Super Bowl again. Anything less would be very disappointing.

Seahawks signed Deion Branch to a six-year, $39 million contract, including $13 million in guarantees and bonuses.

Not bad for a guy who's never had 1000 yards or 6 TDs.

If they don't make it back to the Super Bowl after this, I would look for some changes in Seattle next year, mainly in the coaching staff. They have what they need to make it back to the big game again, there should be not excuses for not getting it done......

Whoa, whoa, whoa man. Easier said than done. You gotta get a lot of breaks to get the Bowl year after year.

I thought Tennessee would make it 3 or 4 yrs in a row after just losing to the Rams.

While it is true they need to catch some "Breaks" along the way, if they have the right talent to go with great coaching, I don't see why they shouldn't get it done.

OK, instead of just saying they should make it back to the Superbowl, I will say they have what it takes to win the Division again this year.......

This reminds me of the Seahawks beating the Cowboys last year in a depressing loss where Seattle did not have their top 2 receivers and still passed all over the Cowboys.

Very nice pick up for the Seahawks. I think they are still a team to watch in the NFC this year. If you look at the landscape, I am not sure the playoffs are going to be much different this year from last year.
