NFC South Showdown October 8, 2006: TB @ NO
There is a House in New Orleans, They Call the SuperDome . . .
TB regroup here for this interdivisional matchup? It's cliche, but this could be their season here. A Gruden-coached team with its back up against the wall . . . Then there's Louisiana Law: Payton, Deuce, Bush & Brees. Payton and Brees is a tremendously exciting HC/QB pairing. I've always thought of Brees as a fine qb that hadn't yet found a team he's in complexion with. +the running game (which will require developmental patience with the rookie. Didn't Bush fumble in the RZ vs. CAR? and didn't they lose that game by less than a TD? ~ but they have to get him the ball. With a great rookie QB you might say, watch your mentor for a season from the bench but I don't think it works that way with RBs. I think there you need the plays. Hopefully they're executed without too much more overhead. I think this should be a great game to watch . . . |

welcome to boards fsw608 . . . goofy things can happen interdivisionally with
a team needing a win as bad as TB. It's a cliche but this game 'is their season' . . . but sometimes the dog can want the bone as much as it wants and it doesn't make any difference. ![]() |

Gradowski looked good..real good on the deep ball especially. I was surprised at how well he performed and sorta more surprised at the faith Gruden showed in him to come out firing rather than just Cadillac-ing it to death. Heck of a football game.
