that would give us shockey, eric johnson and billy miller at TE. billy miller can play and probably start for any team in the league, but he's the odd man out in this equation

Giants wanted too much. A 1st rounder for a guy coming off a major injury, who can be disruptive and is a bit overrated in terms of his production is retarded.

There's no way Shockey is worth a 1st rounder. Even if he promises to keep his big mouth shut, he's always hurt. If I were the Giants, I'd take a fourth rounder and be happy that he's the Saints problem now.

I believe the Saints offered a 2nd but they refused? In all actuality, he's probably not even worth a 2nd and a team would have to be desperate to deal away that much value for a hot head like Shockey. I'm still disappointed with him after he let me down in my fantasy league last year.

He is an injury prone big mouth that wants out of New York. On the fact he`s pretty overrated I would at least take a fourth and a fifth rounder.
