But if he still is useful to the offense then they should use him. No use in letting him go to waste.

I never said cut him... This whole thing started with me saying that the Bucs should really have gone after Anderson in a big way and gotten a QB that'll be around for a while. The way I see it, every year that Garcia is taking all of the snaps, is a year that the team could have been developping talent at the position. This has a lot to do with Gruden forgetting that, not unlike Rich Gannon, players eventualy leave the game, and as such, you have to develop talent and at the very least, have some dependable young guns in the winds, waiting to fill the wholes that eventual retirements leave... I swear, he runs his football teams the way the Leafs run their hockey team... Which is poorly...

How many are young quality? It's not Dilfer... It's not Simms... It's not Plummber... So who else might they have in the winds?

Get real... You're bassing this on what? What he's done thus far... He's got serious injury issues and he's only played half of a season. That issue aside, durring that time, he wasn't all that fantastic. The gent that they just picked up isn't all that fantastic either... It looks bleak at that position... But saying that Simms can do it is like saying that the Bear's have a quarterback position battle because of too much talent... It's like trying to find which one's as big a chump, not which one should be a starter...

Reports say that Tampa is not a "hot" option for Favre and that he would rather play in cooler temps.

It wouldn't be all that bad, but again, it's only a temporary thing... And then they'd have to put up with the "I'm retiring this year... okay this year... okay this year" thing and that just gets old real fast...

WR. Michael Spurlock was also lost in cuts... He was 25...

As a side note again, the Buccs problems at QB just keep mounting up... Gruden must be released! Please, if there is a good, please let lightninng hit him repeatedly in the groin! Serious! He's got to go... And NFL network's top 10 had him listed as top 3 most motivating coach of all time... Gimme a break! He doesn't know his @ss from his elbow and is as usefull as an @ss on an elbow... Man!

I'd like to see John Lynch resume his post in Tampa for one last season even if he's only a Nickel back... One last hurrah and a final reuniting of a D that was what the Bears are today, a D that can win games and score points... With Brooks leaving this year and his cap space being freed I can only think of what could have been had they aquired Briggs this off season...
