Fire Mare!!!

Olindo Mare is not better than John Carney and whoever thought that and realeased Carney needs to be fired I dont care who it is.
The Saints also need to release Fred Thomas. He is as bad or worse than last year and he is a liability to this team.

Mare is not a good kicker at all IMO. Carney is a good kicker. When Mare is going to"try" to kick a field goal,I just shake my head.

What is the deal with Carney? Why did they let him go? I thought he was a pretty decent aging kicker.

i think carney was the best kicker last year not to make a pro bowl. correct me if i'm wrong but didn't he only miss 2 or 3 all year last year?

Yeah he was very good he only missed 2. I think the main concern was that they weren't comfortable anymore with his lack of range and the fact that they had to carry a kickoff specialist whereas Mare is a touchback machine. Unfortunately touchbacks don't net points like FG's do.
