I think this organization needs to start looking at the trenches. This is where you have failed. Last night Haynesworth was in the backfield more than Bush was, that’s a problem. The O-line is not giving Brees enough time to go thru his progressions and in turn Brees is second guessing himself and trying to do too much. The defensive line has faired slightly better, but not by much.

This team is one steam engine shy of a head on collision with a freight train, and it’s not going to be pretty. Right now the only thing they can do is simplify the offense and not try over think everything. It needs to start up top with Payton and trickle down to the last guy on the bench.

Wow a divisional game coming up after ya'lls bye. If Sean Peyton can't grab that win and ya'll fall to 0-4, Saints will be in Superdome sized trouble.

New Orleans Saints

If the Saints fall to 0-4 and the o-line struggles we need to start giving allemen reps at LG and Strief and Bushrod reps at RT, we also should then give more reps to pierre thomas at RB, Meachem needs to be thrown in there as the 3rd WR, put Moore at the #2, on deffense start Usama Young, maybeye even throw Simmions in the Middle so we can see what he can do in a game that acctually counts and mabye bring in another kicker that is young. We might not win games but atleast we can see more of what some of these guys can acctually do in a real game. Even if we don't win games we will win in the draft. We will be high enough to draft dorsey or another impact d-player.

Um even at 0-4 you don't bench all ur starters and play your amateurs. No coach or Gm in the right mind would do that.

although i do agree with you i also have to agree with keiland. the saints need a spark somewhere maybe starting a young o-lineman or brian simmons at lb could do something positive. right now we have to rely on bush and stecker until brees can find a rhythem

No. You don't replace 20% of an offensive line that was great last year with a kid and hope something good happens. That's the one unit that needs to stick together and find a way to get it done, right now that's not happening but I don't think Alleman's the answer to our problems. I still think it's a hangover from last season's unexpected success and the coaching staff needs to find out why this team isn't playing with any urgency and mental determination and fix it quickly.

The Saints offense struggling is not because of the offensive line. Brees is getting plenty of time to find an open receiver, and Reggie is getting a decent number of holes to run through. The issue is that the receivers aren't getting open consistently, which ends up with Brees throwing into coverage, getting sacked, or throwing incompletes. Bush isn't hitting the hole all the time, still looking for the big play, trying to cut it out, and trying to use his speed. In the NFL everyone is fast and Reggie will not outrun the whole defense. The O-line isn't the issue, it is the skill positions that are the issues.
The defensive secondary is porous at best, and the linebackers are having issues wrapping up the ball carrier. I don't think you can fix the defense, maybe just patching it up a bit, but will never be a stellar defense with the talent on the roster now. D-Line is talented but everything after that is lacking.
