Falcons Lose Coleman

Bad news indeed. Coleman is the starting right-side defensive tackle and led all Falcons in sacks last year. This is about the last thing Atlanta needed right now.

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports Atlanta Falcons DT Rod Coleman (quadriceps) suffered a right quadriceps injury that required surgery Monday, April 30. He is likely to miss the entire offseason training program and training camp. There is also a chance he may not be completely rehabilitated by the start of the 2007 season. Coleman acknowledged to teammates he suffered the injury during a boating accident over the weekend.

An already weak pass rush, gets even weaker. They loose Kearney in the offseason to free agency and now they lose Coleman. Game plan vs. Falcons: Run up the gut, or take your time passing no max protect needed.

Not only all of that, they've also lost Demetrius Williams to injury too, so if they don't get better by the time the season starts... GO CINCI!!

That front four is going to be a cake walk... Anderson didn't impress me at all and I think he'll be a bust (personal opinion) but with their entire Front 4 ravaged with injuries, teams are going to tear that apart...

I completely agree, there were better DE's at the time they picked up Anderson. I also agree with MaddHatter that he didn't overly impress me either, that's why I don't like the Falcon's draft this year at all.
