Just heard that on sports radio... Thought I'd share.

That is a very true statement.... I doubt you will see any real violence while the Saints are doing good... when they are good that city is good

The Saints offense I think will do some serious damage to the Colts' D, especially their secondary. They've got a good enough running game to possibly help control the time of possession battle as well. The key for the Saints is their defense though, and their effort to try and hit Manning like they did Favre. They're definitely going to try and pull that off again. And with the Colts not having nearly as good a running game as Minnesota, then that gives the Saints an edge. Indy's O-line will sill be tough to get through as well. Gotta hope Sharper and Porter can step up to great prevention in the backfield.

It was obvious the PT made that first down. Some people wont accept that so whatever.

my take on the Saints D:
they looked so awful last night because they were blitzing at the very least 75% of the game. they were willing to give up points early in the game so they could get in Favre's head. Also, they were trying to strip on first contact almost every time. they wont do either of those things in the SB and the D hopefully will play like they are capable

I can't see the Saints trying to pressure Manning like they did Favre...If they watch film (which they will) on Manning, they will know they can't blitz and leave him open like they did for Favre. Manning loves getting blitzed. If they're smart, they'll send like, one extra guy, and keep man on most if not all receivers.

That's true. Though it kind of is next to impossible to successfully prepare against Manning anyway. :P

They will basically need to outscore the Colts offense to win this game. I can't see either defense really doing all that much. Hopefully the Saints can force a few more turnovers.

The Saints went into the playoffs as the #1 blitzing defense in the NFL. They didn't change much up (defensive wise), they just caught a lot of breaks from the Vikings turn overs.

Lucky for them, AP has two bricks as his hands.

The D line also seemed to be pissed off to the 10th degree at Favre last night... even when they were not blitzing the d line was getting in the backfield a lot

Will Smith was getting some pressure. I think they diverted to much attention to the one pass rusher and lost the real goal. Keeping Farve standing.

New Orleans Saints

AP may have had bricks for hands but we made our own luck and deserve our place in the big game. I for one can't wait and it promises to be a humdinger.

Go Saints!!

You must have seen a different replay than I did. The ball never crossed the first down line, which was obvious in the replay.
