Saints

I have a feeling the saints are going to make it all the way to the super bowl but the question is will they win the superbowl or not.

The Saints are my feel good team i would love to see them in the superbowl. I just dont see them getting by Chicago and if they did the AFC is to strong.

They have the emotional edge over almost every team, IMO.

I agree to an extent, if they are able to get homefield throughout the playoffs i guess the superbowl is possible, i just dont see them beating the AFC represenative, whomever that may be.

I'm willing to bet that the AFC representative will be the Colts.

They will finally learn to win come playoff time.

Saints fans need to put up a shrine and praise Drew Brees....I think he played a HUGE role in the Saints turnaround.

New Orleans Saints

I've always felt Drew Brees was a fine QB who just needed to hook up with the right team and in NO, I think he's found that team. HC Peyton works very
well with QBs too. As well, there's the exciting running duo; Bush & Deuce.
Most importantly, they have the emotional element (Katrina) that inSTAALed
referred to earlier in this thread. That could help shape them into this year's
Cinderella story.

In Super Bowl terms, I think it would help substantially if they could ensure
home field advantage for themselves as deep into the playoffs as possible.
They appear to be on track for winning theire division. Finishing with better records than the NFC East title winner (NYG?) and NFC West (SEA?) would
help with this; their second last game of the season against the NYG could
have such implications . . .

The concern into the playoffs becomes the linebacker corps. If they run
into a team that can exploit that shortcoming, they'll have to have the rest
of their game at a mistake free level to compensate.

Win, the Super Bowl? Heck yeah, anything's possible - and that's not much of a stretch. I'd love to see it!
