Some of you may have heard of Justin Beaver the Division III RB that the packers signed will he make the team and do you think he will play much of a role on the offense if he does?

As far as I know...
As far as I know, he was sent home the weekend after he was invited in for a workout. He wasn't among the 5 or 6 guys they signed (out of 40 something).
Unless injuries start mounting, I don't think he'll be playing for a Packers roster spot any time soon. |

You guys are comedy gold... Is there an echo in here?
Justin Beaver is a testament to how difficult it actually is to make it to the pro level in Football (or any sport for that matter). Read on: Justin Beaver - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In short, Justin was a Division III running back for my old Alma Mater, U.W. Whitewater. Local (Wisconsin) hero... Would have made a great story if he caught on with the Pack. Alas, it was not meant to be... How far did you get in your "NFL career?" I'm guessing "The Couch." Or maybe "Tecmo Bowl." |

Probably a lot further than you made it to be talking down such an accomplishment of even being in Training Camp for an NFL Franchise.

Justin Beaver is in Buffalo right now working out for the Bills. I guess they were thinking of taking him with a 7th rounder at one point, but it didn't work out.
Maybe the Bears will call next now that Benson's out? |
