Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson

Just owned the Bears last week!

Anyone else think he could be the best RB in the league right now?

Leading the NFL in rushing by nearly 100 yards, despite already having a bye week!!!

He's been splitting carries too...which most backs in the upper half of rushing yards have not.

I knew he could do this, I just didn't know about his injuries. IMO I thought he was going to be an amazing player, but I didn't know he'd be this good this early.

as a matter of fact, against the bears he carried the ball 2 more times than AD.
I just traded AD for R.wayne str8 up in my league.

Not surprised one bit. AD has been crushing his opponents since he was in the Big XII

Only 63 yards rushing against the Boys. A fumble and a TD.

It's going to be hard to run when you have no pass game to keep the secondary honest. Jackson sucks. Might as well have both safeties line up next to the linebackers. Even if someone does run open, it's not like Jackson can even hit an open player.

Peterson is going to have more and more games like this if Jackson plays like that every game.

O yea im right with you. Just by looking at his body and build he is ready for the NFL. I knew there wouldnt be any period of getting used to the NFL play. He is just an amazing back.

Minnesota Vikings

On draft day, I was a little mad when the Vikings took AP over Quinn. I felt our biggest need was (and still is) a QB, not a RB, especially with Taylor (1,200 yards in 06). After the draft however, I started to realize that AP is going to be a great RB in the NFL. Honestly, I never imagined he would have this much success this early. In hindsight, I'm really glad that the Vikes went with AP. I guess hindsight really is 20/20.

I'd still rather go QB first. QBs take longer to get going and also have a longer lifespan in the NFL. By the time the Vikings get a good QB, Peterson might be all used up.

If the Vikings had a pro-bowl Qb, they would be 12-4, it is their only weakness!
They need to make a trade.

I kind of agree, a QB would help that team a lot, but Dallas made that defense look a lot better than they are.
