Brett Favre is a loser!

Quick facts on Brett "cry baby" Favre.

1- Whines about spring camp
2- Whines about randy Moss
3- Has thrown 50 interception in the last 2 years
4- Is the primary reason the Packers have been mediocre for the last 6 years
5- SHATTERED the all-time interception record with 276, and still counting
6- Has been a dismal failure in the playoffs. Threw SIX int's on one playoff game, a record that will never be broken.
7- In his only SuperBowl win, he was a non-factor. Desmond Howard won the game for the Packers.
8- Will most likely go down as the most over-rated QB ever

LET AARON RODGERS PLAY, WE DONT WANT YOU ANYMORE BRETT

dude I like what your edit says at the bottom "factual error"... while you may be right about the interceptions, which Farve has always thrown, I don't think he is the primary reason they are mediocre nor will he go down as the most over-rated QB ever. I agree he needs to hang'em up, and he is becoming a "cry baby" to me... but he is still one of the all time greats and our generation was very lucky to get to see him play. I believe that will be his legacy, like Elway's comeback drives, Farve will be remembered for his toughness and aggressive play on the field, more than being one of the greatest at his position.

I can agree with some of those. Favre needs to really think about his and the teams future and decide what's best for both. I can see him staying on with the team in some form of leadership/mentor role although he should secede to Aaron Rodgers and let the Packers build for the future … or at least get into the broadcast booth and become an analyst

Favre’s time has ran out and he needs to realize this.

I think a more acurate statement would be that Farve is the most selfish player in the NFL. All he cares about is himself and how many records he can break. He could care less about Green Bay. The Pack should have dumped him two years ago, when he basically became worthless. Sure he still has some good games, but in meaningless situations. The Packers have been eliminated from playoff contention at the half way mark of the season for two years in a row now. Time to dump Farve and continue the rebuilding that is necessary. Farve's presence only drags out the rebuilding process.

He's a legend, 3 time MVP back2back2back only one besides Earl Campbell to do that. He's past his glory days now but he will never be forgotten for what he did on the field 95'-98'.

Wow NFL_WIZARD are you serious? You have some points but Favre is far from overrated. As was already mentioned he may be way passed his prime but geez the guy was the most exciting player in the NFL at one time. Barry Sanders was the only player of my lifetime that i'd rather have watched.

Green Bay Packers

Wow well thats a typical lions fan. The Lions have BLOWN for the past i dont know at least 3 or 4 years porbably longer they havent won a playoff game since 1991 Brett Favre has won a SB and they beat the crap out of the lions pretty much every year and at least the Packers have a legit chance of makin the playoffs this year. The Lions suck they have always sucked and always will suck. How can you call him over rated? He won in college won in the pros he has won 3 mvps a SB several pro bowls. He hasnt shattered the INT record either he is i think 6 away from breakin it but that aint shatterin nothin. Yea i think he should retire but he still thinks this team can win and he wants to take his team to the playoffs just one more time. When they kill the lions this year dont be sayin he is over rated tell the people the truth he is still one of the better QBs in the league even with the mediocore D and at best descent at times offense. Yea there are times when he will throw the wrong ball and loose the game but how many times has he thrown the ball and it be the game winnin TD??? You just want Aaron Rodgers to play so the lions will FINALLY have a chance

This is absolutely absurd. I am certainly no Favre apologist (far from), this is BS.

Favre, to some degree, has a right to be irritated. Packers have been mired in mediocrity (primarily due to mismangement) for nearly a decade. This off-season for the Packers may be the worst in Favre's career, they have taken major steps back-wards. If he wasn't such an icon to the team, they would have traded him. That just goes back to mismagement. Team is rebuilding, but isn't letting Favre get his title shot either.

As for the SuperBowl, yes Howard won the MVP. Saying Favre was a non-factor is BS. Dude tossed 250-yards and 3 TDs (1 on the ground). Not jaw dropping numbers, but no way do they win without it. More so, he had zero turnovers. Favre was great in that game, classic Favre. I really gt the feeling that you didn't even watch it.

Favre is certainly over-rated now, but you area fool if you think his is over-rated for his career. In his prime, he stacked up to any QB that has played the game. He is, undeniably, one of the top-10 QBs to have ever played the game. You don't win 3 MVPs by chance...
