Who will win the NFC North?

Since this seems to be the popular thing i'll do one on the NFC North

So who will win? The Lions and Vikes have top 10 picks with Green Bay not far out of it. Probably Brett's last year will the team rally like last year?
The Bears are lookin to amend for an embarrassing Super Bowl, will the emotion get the to the big game?

My pick....sadly...is the bears. But this is sort of a fragile pick. If Rex goes into his retard state again he'll have to be benched or the fans will then ask for Lovies head. If he plays well the Bears have this division to lose. The Packers I think will make the playoffs in the weak NFC. The team is young and are going to come together behind Brett in most likely his last season. The Lions and Vikings will improve but will probably pick in the top 10 again next year.

This division is an absolute joke, Bears have no compitition.

Probably the easiest division to predict. After seeing how their competition played, the Bears are still well ahead of the rest of the division.

The only way anyone other than the Bears can win is if half of the Bears D gets injured for the season. Packers are the 2nd best team in this division but a very very very distant 2nd.

There is no doubt that the Bears will win the division easily. The Packers are improving a bit, but a still a ways away from the Bears.

I was very tempted to pick the Vikes, but I couldnt. They dont have WR's. Bears got really lucky last season IMO and I would never in my life pick the Packers. Lol. But the Lions seem pretty solid and I know everyone always picks them as the fav but I really think this season they will do something amazing. The have CJ now, the next Randy Moss.

I picked the Bears because of that Defense, I think it is good enough to win that division if nothing more... but with Briggs unhappy and wanting out and Tank likely out for 4-8 games it may not be. The Lions might actually have something this year because for the first time they have a QB that can actually play some football. Roy Williams, Calvin Johnson, Kevin Jones is no sloutch and Kitna that's a dream offense. If thier defense can hold teams to 17 points they have a chance.

Chicago Bears

The Bears win this division. It may not be as easy for them this year as the last two, but the rest of these teams have to come back so far that they can not get there in a year. The big difference is that the Bears have the ability to beat all the AFC West teams and the others really do not. Can you see Green Bay, Detroit, or Minny defeating the Chargers or Broncos? How about any of those teams defeating an AFC West team on the road? Chicago and Detroit get tested in week 1. The Bears go to San Diego, and the Lions go to Oakland. The best in the NFC vs a very good AFC team, and the worst in the NFC vs the worst in the AFC. Week 1 will tell us a lo about the NFC North.

I still think the Bears are the class of the division, however I am not as sure as you are that the Lions are that far behind. Kitna has it, and if I am not mistaken had 4,000 yards in like 12 games last year. Add Calvin Johnson and a healthy Kevin Jones and that could be huge. I question their defense and that will be the either the rise or fall of the lions IMO.

To your other point I don't know who the Bears have at home or on the Road, but I wouldn't hand them a game in either Denver or KC... is the other AFC west road game Oakland? If you got to San Diego without Briggs or Tank you lose... Rivers and LT are going to hurt you missing those 2 guys.

I think Greenbay finishes last this year, around 6-10 and Minn right around .500... watch out for AP running behind Steve Hutchenson that should be a hell of a running game.

Thank you! Everyone I have talked to says AP will be a bust.

AP = 1,200 yards
Sidney Rice = 1,000 yards

Are the Vikings the new team to beat?!

people seriously think the Lions, kitna is not a good quarterback, and yah Calvin Johnson and Williams will make a good wr tandem but they lack talent in most other positions. bears will take it even if Grossman doesn't play well

I will give you 10-1 odds that doesn't happen.

Vikes top two WRs might not TOTAL 1000 yards between them. They barely passed that mark last year, and that was with Childress thowing >60% of the time. With project at QB and 2 RBs to split time with, the passing game is headed south.

AP might get 1200 yards... if he wasn't splitting time with Taylor.
