Well, what other options are there?

Johnson stinks. He is a decent back-up, but he is arguably the worst starting QB in the NFL. Old, no mobility, bad arm and now he can't even be counted on to make good decisions.

But behind him, what is there?

Bollinger is an NFL bubble player at this point. He might be a servicable back-up in time, but that is about it.

Jackson is going from a small DI-A school to the NFL. HUGE jump, I very much doubt he is ready.

Right now, we should be grooming Jackson for the future. Have him work with a limited playbook and play him in controlled/limited situations. IMO, starting him now will only overwhelm him.

If Romo keeps doing well in Dallas, expect more and more Vikings fans to start talking about Jackson.

Nevermind the fact that Romo has been through four years of training camps, mini camps, practices, game preps, and film watching. But fans always look at the successes and not the failures. Ever since Brady came along, every 6th round QB is now seen as a possible Super Bowl MVP.

You really are sad. I really don't care where you lived, I find your internet muscles laughably pathetic.

Now, Philadelphia may not be Hammond ( ), but I am quite certain that I have been threatened by people far more frightening that a wanna-be tough-guy homer on a message board.

You REALLY think I care? For that matter, consider anything you say believable?

Minnesota Vikings Bring on Jackson!

If Brad were younger, sure keep him in for the season. It's obvious that Brad is not our answer for QB next season (who knows, though... stranger things have happened). We need to get TJ in. So what if he struggles. Chalk it up as learning on the job. Keep the playbook simple and let him make some things happen. If he gets hurt he has until next season to recover. We've got to change some things up offensively.

Minnesota Vikings Now is the time

If anytime is the time to make the move, after yesterday we need to change direction. Brooks and TJ both looked good. I know TJ fumbled on his last play, but at least he was moving trying to do something.

I'm sorry, Brad, but your time as a starter is now officially over as far as I'm concerned. You cost us at least 2 games this season (Miami and yesterday). Who knows if we would have won, but you definitely put us in a hole that we could never get out of.

I personally think it's time for TJ to take the reigns and learn the position the best way possible, by living it. Give him the start since your seasons shot anyway and let him get the best experience he can against starting NFL Defenses. Atleast you'll groom him to be a starter next year and can start building your offense around him and Chester

God he was terrible even in Tampa. He doesnt fit the Minnesota mold at all either, they are a downfield team and I dont even know If Johnson in capable of throwing it far enough downfield to constitute a downfield pass.
