Chicago Bears bears unbeatable?

the bears will probably do what no team has done since the dolphins,go 16-0.the only teams that might have a chance would be the pats or giants cause they are playing at home.

I think it would be amazing for them to go undefeated, and then all the way to the Super Bowl (to win that, too). The game has changed a lot since 1972 and for them to go undefeated this season would really be something. Good luck to them!

Hmph...One day soon, theyll be saying, 'Oh how the mighty have fallen.' And Ill cheer and jump and shout.

Seriously, even though this isnt 'my' team, it's cool when a team in any sport can go undefeated, it's just inspiring and exciting.

Any team that nearly lost to the Cardinals are hardly unbeatable.

Put another way...

Far better teams than this year's Bears have failed in their bids to go 16-0.

Any team can win on any given day.

That is all.

Thats true, and Bears have a bit more power than some teams can field right now, however, I don't see undefeated.

I personally don't see them as unbeatable. But you brought up something that I am curious about though. Has a team won all their games and then went on to win the Super Bowl?

There has been only one undefeated team in NFL history and yes they won the SuperBowl.

There have been several 15-1 teams, most went on to win the SuperBowl (Steelers and Vikes the exceptions).

I would put the Bears on par with the 15-1 Steelers team, but not as good as the last Bear's SuperBowl team or the 15-1 Vikes of recent years. Heck, I wouldn't even put them as good as the Colts team that went 13-0.

Thanks for the answer. Can you let me know the team though? Doing this would make for such an awesome year.

Overrated

man, this is a great D with a below avg. offense. they're starting to come down to earth, and when they get beat by a beat up Giants team this weekend, we will all see them for the frauds they are.

Sorry to say but the same team that beat the Bears in '85 for their 1st lost did it again...Funny how history has a way of repeating...Now in week 16 it will be the Colts turn to go down from the hands of the Fins...
