New York Giants Draft Review

Round One: Kenny Phillips, FS, Miami
Round Two: Terrell Thomas, CB, Southern Cal
Round Three: Mario Manningham, WR, Michigan
Round Four: Bryan Kehl, OLB, BYU
Round Five: Jonathan Goff, LB, Vanderbilt
Round Six: Andre Woodson, QB, Kentucky
Round Six: Robert Henderson, DE, Southern Miss

I thought the Giants had a solid draft. Phillips and Thomas address needs, and they got a steal in Manningham in the 3rd Round. If they can show him the ropes and how the pros work he's fantastic value.

I guess the thought is that Phillips will be a Sean Taylor type impact player but I think he turns out to be the one of the worst safeties to ever come out of the U.

Manningham was the consenus fav pick and a steal that late in the draft

Manningham definitely was a big steal. He didn't something stupid in his interviews, but he's what, 21? Not a huge deal, certainly not on the level of the stuff the NFL has been exposed to of late.
