I'm guessing previous years factor into some things for that poll.
Again, I don't see how someone who's been constantly bashed and vilified can actually be seen as overrated though.

But part of the reason the Giants won is because Dallas made a lot of dumb mistakes. The stupid penalties and the terrible special teams cost the Cowboys a ton of field position.

The Giants are the better team and proved it with the win. They took advantage of those mistakes to win the game. Playing smart is a big part of any game, and the Giants won that battle by far. It's why they're still playing.

Actually, it's three games. Wasn't perfect but played well against the Patriots.

As for over-rated, he was over-rated coming out of college. And everytime he's had a good game someone says he's turned the corner, which is ridiculous.

Fact is, there's barely anyone on these Boards who'd trade a first round draft choice for him. So how is he over-rated?.

It's all based on the media. When he does bad he's rightfuly bashed....when he does good you think he is having an MVP season or something and the Giants are undefeated.

The New York papers at this point don't even compare him with the likes of Romo.

The best they say now is that by cutting down on his turnovers he's getting better at managing games. At least the papers I read.

Unless he improves his accuracy, there's no way he's an elite quarterback. He just doesn't throw a tight enough spiral so his long passes tend to float. Personally, I think he needs more time in the weight room to improve his upper body strength.

Bottom line, he quarterbacked a team that has one all-star to the playoffs. And he's quartebacked the team to three straight playoffs. I can live with that.

Funny that if he hadn't demanded a trade, he'd probably have better numbers in always fair weather San Diego.

Crayton is a bum.....the offensive line played like complete ass the second half and that is why Barber and Romo fell off at the end. Romo had NO time to throw and Marion was having to run people over before he got to the L.O.S.
Well since the Cowgirls have been around about 40 years longer than the Titans I would hope that you were there more....

Shows what you know the Oilers have been around longer than the Cowboys... being that the original Dallas franchise moved to Kansas City... amatures.

QFT...

It was just a bad game all around and the Giants played one hell of a game. We'll be back next year, as much as I would like to still be around this year.

Back to the Cowboys vs. Giants....

Here is an interesting breakdown of the Cowboys' defensive playing time against the Giants.

CB Terence Newman – 43 of 43 snaps (26 first half/17 second half)
OLB DeMarcus Ware – 43 of 43 snaps (26/17)
S Ken Hamlin – 42 of 43 snaps (26/17)
CB Anthony Henry – 41 of 43 snaps (25/16)
S Roy Williams – 38 of 43 snaps (26/12)
DE Chris Canty – 37 of 43 snaps (22/15)
OLB Greg Ellis – 36 of 43 snaps (22/14)
NT Jay Ratliff – 36 of 43 snaps (22/14)
ILB Bradie James – 34 of 43 snaps (18/16)
ILB Akin Ayodele – 30 of 43 snaps (18/12)
DE Marcus Spears – 19 of 43 snaps (12/7)
DE Jason Hatcher – 15 of 43 snaps (8/7)
ILB Kevin Burnett – 14 of 43 snaps (8/6)
CB Jacques Reeves – 13 of 43 snaps (8/5)
S Patrick Watkins – 11 of 43 snaps (8/3)
DE Stephen Bowen – 7 of 43 snaps (4/3)
NT Tank Johnson – 7 of 43 snaps (4/3)
OLB Anthony Spencer – 7 of 43 snaps (4/3)
S Keith Davis – 1 of 43 snaps (0/1)

Interesting thing: In the second half when the game was on the line, Roy Williams was on the sidelines for 5 of the 17 defensive plays.
