Week 6 Predictions

Giants over Atlanta - Giants have won 3 straight and Atlanta isn't playing too great right now. 28-13

Redskins over Packers - this is a tough one to call but they handled Detroits offense really well and I really think they will do the same with the Packers offense. The Skins offense won't put up a whole lot but I'm thinking 24-13

Patriots over Cowboys - I think this will be a pretty close game, but I just don't think the Pats are beatable right now. Cowboys will come out firing and may be ahead at the half but the Patriots will put it away late in the fourth 34-24

Eagles over the Jets - Jets almost came away with the win last week but the Eagles had a much needed bye week and will come out connecting on all cylinders. This will be too much for the Jets to handle. Pennington has another 3 pick game. 34-13

Cowboys win (Hopefully. As long as Romo doesn't turn it over 6 times I have confidence. People say who have the Cowboys played...well wtf? The Patriots have played 4 of the bottom five defenses in the league. They'll focus more on taking away Witten and that should open things up for others...I'm really hoping the Cowboys run a lot of two WR sets.)

Packers win (This isn't the Detroit defense....I don't see the Redskins doing much unless it's on the ground. I don't see the Packers doing much either unless it's through the air....they have no running game at all. Gonna be a boring game...probably 6-3 Packers lol.)

Giants win (It's Atlanta....Hall on Plaxico? I'll take it.....Giants win by17^)

Eagles win (Jets have a noodle armed QB....Eagles have a pass rush. Dump offs all day lol. Mcnabb is horrible under pressure....but the jets don't really have anyone to apply it...so it'll probably be a massacre.)

They can't hope to contain Witten, he always finds a way. And if they put a LB on him, he's too fast. If they put a CB on him, he's too strong. They will likely have to double team him in order to keep him in check.

The way the Cowboys utlize Witten kind of reminds me of how Troy utilized Jay Novacek back in the day. Irvin was the #1 target, but Novacek was Aikman's safety blanket; he counted on him.

I meant to put two TE sets.....with two WRs and a RB.

I think if we play two TE sets with 2 WR we could really mess with BeliCHEAT's coverage schemes. If they wanna cover Witten we always have Fasano, who isn't too bad and IMO is one of the better backup TEs in the league. He doesn't have the numbers but he has the skill and I really think he could be the starter TE on many teams who lack a receiving TE.
