I don't think a slightly above average WR is what will put Philly over the top. Sure it helps some but the Iggles still have health questions at RB.

If Donte Stallworth was so good, how come New Orleans let him go?

I don't see how the Saints #2 wide receiver is going to make the Eagles that much better, but what do I know?

The Eagles went to the Super Bowl with health questions at RB.

But they didn't win the Super Bowl. (And their QB also had health questions in it as well.)

Fair enough, but soething tells me that the Eagles would consider a trip to the Super Bowl a successful season.

I already had the Eagles in the 2nd spot in the NFC East and one of the WC teams. This trade only re-inforces that.

Well it would equal the most successful season they ever had. Still haven't won a Super Bowl after so many years.

Eagles Winning The East

Hi! I'm new here i just wanted to tell everyone i'm a huge Eagles fan and i love football.

Now moving on i think that Stallworth will be a big help to the Eagles but i don't think that he will be enough to win us the NFC East title. I think the we will finish third in the division this year unless we improve greatly because of the great teams around us. I think the Redskins will win it (12-4), the Cowboys will finish second at (10-6), the Eagles will get third at (9-7), and the Giants fourth at (8-8).

I might not have put it as you did, owens81, but I essentially agree.

I think that Eagles will do good indeed, however, I'm a tad bit more skeptical of them being head of division...but it's likely.

I honestly felt the Eagles would make a run at the NFC East even before the aquissition. Should be a good season for them as McNabb has A LOT to prove. He's looked great all preseason, and I think you see them beat up on the Texans opeing day. Thats a good bet by the way.

It would be nice to see them win but there are some good teams out there this year. Here's hoping................
